thot of sharing this...something i shared with my children church frens..found it quite good...


Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil

does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endure all things


these are 4 verses that everyone is v v familiar with (rites PJ, angelina, laura, leong)

but how often is it applied into our daily lives?

example
[v 1]
when someone hates/ dislike u, what is ur first reaction? issit

(the person already don like me!why should i love her/him?don waste my time)
or
(its ok. i will still love the person, fellowship with him/her. even if she is going to do things that will hurt me, backstab me, i will still love him/ her)
or
( see see! i treat the person so good lorx..i love her eh..can't you see..i'm such a loving person. i love her she don love me lorx..i so good rites..)

[v 2]
when something not so good happen, example when a particular thing goes wrong and someone has to shoulder the responsible, consequences

( who cares larx..wrong that wrong..also won die de larx..the most get scolded only..also not say life and death..don care larx..non of my problem )
or
( its not my fault! its him/ her! i'm not involved! don scold me..you wana scold, scold him..)
or
(she/ he larx! always come and disturb me de lorx! i don like him/ her larx!)
or
(ha ha! now i know something that he/she did wrong.shall go tell the cgl..hope she/he will get scolded! the best is kena till v cham )

[v 3]
when someone is accused

(serve her/him right! who ask him/her always say me..now its her/him turn..its jus retribution..even if its someone eles's fault and i know about it i also won speak up fer her/him..who ask her/him to provoke me, treat me so badly)
or
( ermx..nevermind larx.think the cgl likes her/him better..she take e blame fer me.its ok de..hope noone finds out that i'm the one who did it..God..pls don tell anyone find out ~ )

[v 4]
when u're in the valley of ur live, natural/spiritual

( cannot..i cannot de..this time sure die le larx..why mus it happen to me..why..God is so unfair..why can't it be him/her..why me? )
or
(aiya..she/he always lie de..why should i believe in him/her? sure bluff pple de..its jus another story to gain love frm pple)
or
(this time no hope le larx..its hopeless..no need try de larx..she/he won come back to church de..jus give up alrites..don waste time)
or
(i cannot the larx..why give me such responsibility? i dowan larx..don give me more burden kan..i jus wanna live a simple christian lives, happily serving in my ministry..loving God..comin to church..dowan.the more i serve sure more burdens, more spiritual warfare one..no no..count me out in this )

doesn't it sounds like pple you know? or even yourself? well..at least some of them came frm my own experiences..this maybe verses that everyone knows..but how in depth do we study those verses and carry them out in our lives..it may seems easy..but it takes courage, tolerance and definately lots of love to do so..

i was sharing this with my c.c frens..and one of the comman response was " i knew this verse but i didn't know it was meant in this way...it actualy applies to our everyday lives! "
